Links
Here are links to some places I visit from time to time, or just think are worthwhile:
Homepages & Journals
- My sister Naomi has an interesting (if somewhat dark) website.
- My roommate Dave hosts us all on his server, Typhoon. His own homepage can also be found there.
- And, rounding out the trio of websites on Typhoon is my friend Jenny, who studies neuroscience and is quite fond of all things dendritic.
Webcomics
I read a number of web-published comic strips pretty faithfully (i.e. every day). I don't get the newspaper, so this is my funny pages. My thanks to whoever invented the wonderful Firefox "Open Folder in Tabs" feature for easy browsing.

School and School-like Stuff
I'm all graduated now, but...
- Arizona State University is my alma mater.
- I designed this History of English website for a professor.
News/Information
- Curious what the weather's like here in sunny Tempe? Wonder no more.
- The Arizona Department of Transportation has a handy site detailing exactly how busy the Phoenix freeway system is.
- Wikipedia is the source of all knowledge. Occasionally I read the German version to keep my German up.
- While attempting to read the German Wikipedia articles, I often find myself in need of a dictionary. LEO German-English Dictionary is the best I've found.
- Slashdot. News for nerds. Stuff that matters.
Computers and Programming
- Wondering how I made those transparent PNGs work even in Internet Explorer? Check out this site for the answer.
Just for Fun
- Mark Rosenfelder's Metaverse is always good for a conlanging fix.
